Region Highland
Type Single Malt
ABV 53.9% (Cask Strength)
Cask American Oak
Run 257 Bottles
Volume 700ml

Founded by the Teacher family in 1898, Ardmore produces a unique spirit, at once peaty and fragrant. This has made it highly popular with blenders, and it’s the signature malt in Teacher’s blended Scotch. Our expression stays true to this character, with even more nuance and flavour thanks to a higher than usual alcohol volume.

ABV 54.6% (Cask Strength)
Cask American Oak

Positioned on the rugged eastern coast of Islay, Caol Ila is renowned for its consistency, a factor made all the more remarkable by the large volumes it produces, the most on the island. Its spirit is predominantly peppery and floral with gentle smoke notes, often infused with seashore flavours, as is the case with this lively, vibrant expression.

Cask American Oak,  Sherry Finished

Tobermory’s doors opened in 1798, going on to become an attractive addition to the colourful Isle of Mull, its home on the west coast of Scotland. This sea-swept distillery produces a range of whiskies, but when the bottle displays a Ledaig label it means there’s peat inside. That’s this expression, a smoky number made all the more irresistible by its time in a sherry cask.

BUNNAHABHAIN 2002

SOLD OUT

Age 17 Years
Region Islay
Type Single Malt
ABV 54% (Cask Strength)
Cask American Oak
Run 197 Bottles
Volume 700ml

Spirit from this legendary Islay distillery is often unexpected, as it doesn’t always produce the same peat levels as its fiery neighbours. Bunnahabhain whiskies are known to be richly robust, and this cask, laid down at the beginning of the century, embodies this character with a natural sweetness enlivened by its time in American oak.

IMPERIAL 1995

SOLD OUT

Age 24 Years
Region Speyside
Type Single Malt

Cask American Oak
Run 204 Bottles
Volume 700ml

Imperial was named in honour of the Royal House, being founded in 1897, the year of Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee. This regal affiliation didn’t prevent multiple closures over the next century and, just three years before it was mothballed for good in 1998, the spirit in this expression was distilled, going on to spend its entire life in American oak.

INVERGORDON 1974

SOLD OUT

Age 45 Years
Region Highland
Type Single Grain
ABV 46.6% (Cask Strength)
Cask American Oak, Sherry Finished
Run 156 Bottles
Volume 700ml

This whisky, laid down only 15 years after the distillery was established, spent a further 45 sleeping in American oak before being transferred to a sherry cask. Invergordon is in the far northeast of Scotland, situated in the eponymous Highland town, a unique location for a grain-producing distillery. Given that it was set up for large-scale whisky production, single grain bottlings are rare and highly sought after.
