Islay’s oldest distillery has never been one for half measures or subtle gestures. Bowmore produces a brazenly peated spirit, all heavily smoked and sea soaked. That’s the starting point for this expression; an energetic, lively dram emboldened by a wildly uncompromising youthful spirit that couldn’t wait to erupt from its American oak cask.

Tasting Notes

There’s an immediate burst of sea spray and wet tar that combine with a hint of bitter lemon. Then the peat hits, fresh and eager, bursting with sweet smoke and vanilla.
