Spirit from this legendary Islay distillery is often unexpected, as it doesn’t always produce the same peat levels as its fiery neighbours. Bunnahabhain whiskies are known to be richly robust, and this cask, laid down at the beginning of the century, embodies this character with a natural sweetness enlivened by its time in American oak.

Tasting Notes
It all starts with a thickly sweet aroma of toffee sauce and milk chocolate, then the palate seduces with fresh seasonal raspberries, a touch of dessert cream and hint of salted caramel, before lemon meringue and sweet strawberries linger languidly on the finish.
Pairing Suggestions
This whisky is complemented by either a freshly baked summer berry tart, or a block of salted caramel milk chocolate.
